Murphy Family Movers is incredible and I highly recommend them to anyone. They are family owned and Jack was very transparent about pricing and gave an estimate that was very reasonable. He was incredibly flexible to accommodate my schedule and on the day of the move, the moving team actually called to ask if they can come earlier than expected which was amazing! I’ve heard so many stories of friends / family waiting for hours. Once they arrived, the team was PHENOMENAL. They were friendly, professional and made me feel very comfortable. I was initially worried about some items (adjustable bed, workout equipment, etc) other companies stated I personally needed to be disassemble prior to the move, but they were able to quickly disassemble it for me and wrapped everything including furniture to make sure it didn’t get dirty in transport. All my items were handled with complete care and attention to detail. Move in was also seamless and they ensured all my items were placed in the correct areas. The entire process was efficient, fast, safe, and took probably half the time I was quoted by other companies. Payment was super easy, no hidden fees. This is one of the best moving experiences I’ve had and huge thanks for the moving team for doing such an excellent job. I’d refer anyone to the Murphy team and plan to continue to use them for future services!

The movers were excellent in the way they handled my furniture. They were very friendly and caring. These movers were recommended to me by a friend who moved to Des Moines from Palatine -- so my move from Palatine to Myrtle Beach was just as told to me that it would be. Bravo to the wonderful company and their wonderful employees

Timely but damaged several pieces of furniture which includes desk and tv table where the doors are stuck. I don’t think I will use them again

Jacks movers were absolutely amazing! His crew showed up right on time and called us ahead. We lived in a 3 story walk up and the move was not easy. His crew made it a seamless experiences from beginning to end. I cannot recommend them enough!

I got a new google account so I needed to post a new review for this company, who years later I have a soft spot for. During covid (2020, when it was very bad) this company stepped in and stepped up for my family during one of the scariest and hardest days for us. And the movers are the most compassionate and sweetest people on earth. We had a high risk person in our home, the house was huge at 4,000sf and our original movers abandoned us on move in day. I can't describe how scary it is to legally have to be out of a home in mere hours and have no one to help. We call this company and they were all complete angels, when I see their truck sometimes I tear up because I can't believe how good these people were to us. They came and saved the day for us last minute, charged us WAY LESS when they could have easily taken advantage of us, talk about integrity. They showed up within an hour and their team were all so kind and professional, they were fast and careful. Years later and I still sometimes think of how wonderful these people are, it is so hard to find good movers you can trust. Most people would have taken advantage of my family but Murphy family movers did not, they went above and beyond and did so with a smile. When the high risk person went inside they all stood on the sidewalk to give us space and that meant a lot to me. I can't thank them enough. They earned customers for life and we are always quick to recommend them.

Usually take care of moving by myself and friends but this time decided to hire some folks. Scheduled a move a little late but these guys had the availability and were flexible enough to accommodate my move. The contact I spoke to, Jack, was friendly and quick to respond. The movers were courteous and attentive to where we needed what. There was a small issue that occurred with the movers and they acknowledged their mishap. Spoke to Jack and we reached an agreement amicably. I recommend that you communicate the items involved in the move for an accurate estimate. The estimate we were given and what we were charged was as expected. It was a little pricey but the job was done well and I'd recommend them.
